Home Learning Day 4

Posted: November 3, 2021

Bonjour 5 Dunnett,

Hope you guys are all doing well with the home learning. I have been so enjoying receiving messages of all the work you all have been doing. Keep up with the great work!  Remember, if you don't understand or need help. Please reach out to me and I would love to help you in away that I can. Just know that all I am asking, is for you to at least try to complete some of the work that I have been assigning.

Just a note to please continue working on the lesson plan that I have attached on the first day. The way I had designed it, is it should take you all week to complete. Keep checking my teacher page daily, as I will be adding to the lesson each day. Also, be sure that you are keeping all your work that you have been doing in a folder, because I will be collecting all your work once we return together!

Literacy -  Please keep up with doing your reading log and log it daily. Don't forget that if you are stuck with something to write about, please go to the choice board that I have made with topics already on it to help you get started. I've attached the last spelling sheet for you guys to complete with this weeks spelling words. Remember, if you can't print the sheet, please write your answers on a sheet of loose leaf. When you have completed that, find someone in your house hold to play hangman by using your spelling words. REMEMBER your spelling test will be tomorrow!

Remembrance Day is  next week, so I have attached a reading comprehension for you to read and answer the questions. Again, just write your answers on a sheet of loose leaf if you are unable to print the sheet.

Math - Keep up with doing the lessons on Dreambox. If you haven't yet emailed me to request your usernames or passwords, please do so. The first link below is a little review game of Estimating Sums and Differences. This is something that we have been working on in class. The second link is just a fun game for you to work on your multiplication strategies!!

Science - We have been learning about the three states of Matter (Soild, Liquid & Gas). Down below you will see a link with a Matter project that you can do at home. All that you will need is glue or tape, scissors, magazines, newspaper, and paper to make a book. Please read the insturctions carefully and have fun with it.

**Don't forget to check out Mr. Flynn's and Mrs. Gallant's teacher pages for activities in Phys.Ed and Music. **

Miss you all so much! Hopefully we are back together really soon!!

Mr. Dunnett!!
