Thanksgiving Dinner, Home Learning

Posted: October 1, 2021

Thanksgiving Dinner: Each student was given a Special Thanksgiving Dinner order form today from the MAA cafeteria. The order form is due back by Wednesday Oct. 6th

Home Schooling: In the event of a school closure at Max Aitken due to Covid 19, students will be transitioning immediately to a home learning environment.   An e-mail was sent to all parents earlier this week to explain how home learning will work for my students should a school closure occur.  Math and Art home learning packages/booklets were sent home with each student on Wednesday Sept. 29th.  All Intensive French activities will be posted daily to my teacher page during any school closure.  The Intensive French activities will be in the form of a daily PowerPoint presentation and will include listening, speaking, reading and writing activities that align with the in-class Intensive French 5 programme.  The class had an opportunity earlier this week to view a practice PowerPoint presentation and I answered all questions.  Students are now familiar with how PowerPoint presentations are to be used in the event of a school closure.
