Good morning students and families!

Today is our second day of Home Learning. We have lots of fun activities for you.

Language Arts

1.      Go on a letter hunt for the letters a – f throughout your home or in your favorite book. Where can you find letters in your home?

2.      In your Home Learning packet (COVID-19 packet), practice printing the letters a – f on the Letter Trace with your finger or your white board marker.

3.      Also, in your packet, refer to your Reading Challenge sheet and pick one of the ways to Read a Book. Remember, there are three ways to read a book (Read the pictures; retell the story; read the words).

Math.

1.      In your packet, play Roll and Cover the numeral game, using your dice and counters.

2.      Look for a pattern of colors in your home.

3.      Practice sorting your Halloween treats or other food items at home (ex. Bars in a pile/chips in another pile). What treat do you have the most of?

It is important to read to your child each day and have them go outside for physical activity. Check out Mr. MacKinnon’s teacher page as he is posting daily challenges to have fun & be active.
