Good morning students and families!

We are finishing up with the letter Ll today!

Letter Ll Activities:

Go on a letter hunt and look for the letter Ll or items that begin with /l/ in your home. (lemon, lamp, light, etc.)

Today we are going to write about something that we love that begins with /l/. For example, “I love lemonade.”  “I love ladybugs.” Draw a picture to go with your story.

In your home learning packet, take out the sight word reading sheet for practicing reading the word see. ( I see my dog.) Practice reading while pointing to the words and using the pictures.

In your home learning packet, please complete the Count the Hot Chocolate! Sheet. Remember when filling in ten frames we fill the top row first then bottom left to right.

It is important to read to your child each day and have them go outside for physical activity- hopefully it will be warmer today.

Squiggle Park – don't forget to check out Squiggle Park for lots of great literacy activities. You can log in using the information that was sent home earlier in the year.

Check out Mr. MacKinnon’s Teacher Page for some fun and creative ideas to stay physically active! He has added a Ten Day Dance Unit that students can try at home.

Any completed work can be stored in the Home Learning Kit - until we return to in person learning at school to be placed in their binders.

Once again, thank you for all your support during this challenging time of Home Learning.

Any questions or anything you would love to share please send an email.
