Good morning students, parents/guardians.
Today, November 23rd, 2021, is an operational day at Max Aitken.
Language Arts
Please practice saying the alphabet letter names and sounds.
This week we are learning about the letter Hh. Hh makes the sound /h/, which comes from the back of the throat and feels like hot air. We slap our legs like a horse galloping – Honey Horse.
Go on an Hh hunt in your home to see what you can find that begins with h.
Do you know anyone who has an Hh in their name?
From your home packet sent home earlier this year, please practice tracing the letters a to h.
Math
This week we are continuing to learn about subitizing and reviewing patterns.
