Students will write about their history as a reader, starting with their earliest memory and working their way up to present day. Please read sample to get an idea of what you can do. Grade 6s can do their elementary history, preferences, favorite places to read and challenges. Grade 7 will do those things as well as talk about how they've changed as a reader from elementary to middle school.
Start with
- first memory of them reading or being read to
- what books do they remember most and why
- what books do their first remember reading on their own and why did they like them
- what did they read throughout elementary
- what are they reading now
- what are their challenges as readers
- what are their goals as readers
- where is your favorite place to read
