- Novel study questions and vocabulary for all chapters are due before March Break. ***** Please note the majority of the students have completed all questions and vocabulary for the novel " Les Pirates" and have handed it in. No more class time will be given to work on these chapters. Students need to go over their work as they will have a comprehension evaluation on the book before March Break.
Science Humaine 7E
- Students need to begin finding and saving pictures/ images on the First Nation prior to the European colonization. Pictures of their clothing, tools, shelters, food etc.... ( These pictures will be used in their final project ). Having students do reserach step by step instead of trying to get the whole project done at once.
- Students need to start thinking about and choosing their theme for this year's Heritage Fair project. Projects MUST have a Canadian theme and be part of our history. They may choose a person or event which had an impact on NB or Canadian Heritage................. Students may not choose an athelete, actor/ singer " celebrity" just because they are a popular Canadian.....they must have contributed to something changing in history. Ex: Willie O'Ree was the first black person to play for the NHL changing the history of the sport and culture surrounding black atheletes in Canada. ******
