Classe titulaire 6R- Homeroom:

• Last social of the year is this Friday June 8th from 7-9pm.
• Tomorrow Friday June 8th is Hat Day, pay $1.00 to wear your favourite hat. All proceeds will go to help grade 1 expenses for their field trip.
• Next week will be the last Spirit Week for this school year, here are the themes for the days:

1. Monday June 11th- Crazy socks and Sandals. Wear the craziest socks you have with your sandals.
2. Tuesday June 12th- Tacky Tourist Day. Wear funny sunglasses, hats, clothing, fanny packs etc...
3. . Wednesday June 13th- Summer Hat Day. The hat must be of summer theme...no ball cap
4. Thursday June 14th- Superhero Day. Come dressed up as your favourite Superhero or villain.
5. Friday June 15th- Grade 6 students are asked to wear purple ( all grades have been assigned a different color).

• Students are learning about stereotypes, discrimination, prejudice and racism within cultures.

• Grade 6 & 7 :Reading 15 minutes Monday-Thursday with their level book.
• Grade 6 students (all) and some grade 7 have receivced their username and password for " Au Royaume des sons" ( weblink can be found at the top). ***** Must use Chrome for the site to work porperly.

• Students are learning about stereotypes, discrimination, prejudice and racism within cultures.

• Read 15 minutes each night Monday-Thursday  ( with their chosen book from their level). If they have reached level 30 they may choose a novel from my bookshelf ( free choice).
• We have begun working on a writing piece " Intrigue Policière"
