- Last Friday I was attending training in completing french running records for our middle school students. We are now being asked to complete this reading evaluation for each of our students, This is the exact same process as in elementary, we are now going to continue it through grade 6, 7 and 8. Each student after being evaluated will receive their reading level, they will choose books from the classroom at their level and they will be required to read 10- 15 minutes each night. The provincial government has identified what level each grade should be at by the end of the year in June ( by program late and early immersion). Grade 6 Early Immersion must be at level S (level 28) by the end of June.
- We will be beginning a novel study early this week and we will also be starting some grammaire and sentence structure activities ( please see weblinks for practice links).
