Newsflash! I have found a video series in which the artist makes certain shaded drawings a piece of cake! His name is Paul Priestley, he's got a very cool accent, and I can't wait to see how you make out with his 5 drawings! While you are watching the video below, you will draw 1) a realistic piece of ribbon, 2) a blade of tall grass, 3) a flag, 4) cliffs and 5) a curled leaf, all using the same shading techniques you have been learning for the past 2 weeks! Your 5 drawings can be done on 1 sheet of paper, if you like. Pay VERY careful attention to how he uses the direction of his shading (vertical, horizontal, diagonal/on an angle) to create more realism in his drawings.
