MAA students in middle school have the opportunity to work on Max Magazine.  They will meet every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:00-4:30.  The first magazine will be published prior to Christmas.

Max Aitken Academy has planned some Halloween activities for all students (K-8) on Tuesday, October 31.

On Tuesday, October 31st Max Aitken Academy will have their first ever Halloween Assembly, beginning at 9:00am.  There will be performances from some of our grade 1 students, skits from our elementary drama group, and a costume parade!  There will be prizes for the best costumes at the K-2, 3-5 and 6-8 levels, as well as for the most original.  Who will be our special guest costume judge?  You'll have to come to find out!

Middle level students are invited to our Halloween Costume Dance.

When: Friday, October 27th, 2017, 7:00 - 9:00pm.  Doors close at 7:30.

Cost: $5

Wear your costumes!  There will be prizes!  No full face masks allowed and school dress code is in effect.  A reminder that for safety reasons, no students will be allowed to leave before 9:00pm.

Thank you to the Miramichi branch of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Boys and Girls Club for the generous monetary donation to the Max Aitken Breakfast Program ensuring that all students have access to the healthy breakfast each day during the school year!

Max Aitken Academy students and staff will be conducting a food drive the week of October 2nd.  Non perishable food items will be collected and donated to the Miramichi Food Bank.  Students can bring their items to the school.  NOTE: The class who brings in the most food items will receive a special class prize!

Paddy Quinn and Darcy McLauchlan from 95.9 SUN FM will be at the school on Thursday October 5th during the Thanksgiving Assembly to pick up all food items.

Lets go Max Aitken Academy students!!
