In the fall, Mrs. Eisner received a Capacity for Courage grant for devising a way to celebrate diversity within our school. Her concept was to use 28 different canvasses, to be painted separately, and then reassembled in the whole to create a welcome sign that incorporated the many languages spoken by our students, as well as to reflect the many heritages represented within the Max Aitken Academy student body.  The students who painted the individual canvasses are seen above.
