Where are the classes held?
Classes are held right at your child's school, after school. There will be a designated room that the
school staff will direct all of the art students to on the first day.
Do students attend 1 or 2 days a week?
Students attend 1 day per week. Families have the choice of which day works best with your
schedule. This allows us to accommodate the high demand, while also keeping our student/teacher
ratio ideal.
Do they need aprons/ special clothing?
No smocks are provided but we seldom get messy. Don't send the kids in white or their very best
clothes!
What should they bring?
Just a snack, if your child is often hungry after school. We provide all of the supplies each week.
Our custom sketchbooks and carrying bag are given to each student to keep. Please make sure they
are brought to school each week. If a student forgets their book, they should still come, we have
lots of extra paper to share.
Payment
We accept cash, cheques, credit cards, and EMTs to accounting@esteyart.com. Cash payments must
be in an envelope with your child's name written on it and given to an Estey Art Instructor. Please
DO NOT give money to the school office. Payment plans are available, with a $10 processing fee.
Pick Up
We ask parents to please wait at the main doors of the school for pick up. We have an end of the
class system that is designed for the safety of the students that works best when we dismiss as a
group.
Families are invited to join us at 4:00 PM on the final day for an art show and presentation.
Sponsorship
We offer sponsorships to help some families with the cost of the program. Together with school
principals, we do our best to allocate funds so that every child who wants to attend is able to. To
apply for aid please fill out our application form on our website (under Sponsorships) or contact us
and we'll send a copy. The Deadline to apply for sponsorships is October 2nd.
