In Advisory we discussed gratitude and the importance of showing appreciation for those we are grateful for. After watching a shout-out video for inspiration, we compiled some shout-outs of our own. Enjoy!

As a team-building exercise, students were given limited supplies (including 20 spaghetti noodles) and 20 minutes to build a tower that would support a marshmallow. Good work, teams!

Report card curbside pick-up:
Report cards will be available for curbside pick-up on Friday, June 19th from 9am - 12pm.
K-3 students can collect their report cards from the front traffic loop.
Students in grades 4-7 (Including 3/4 Barrieau) can collect their report cards from the back bus loop.
Grade 8 students will be able to collect their report card on the evening of Thursday, June 18th during our grade 8 drive-thru celebration.
Anyone who is unable to pick up a report card at that time can make arrangements with their child's teacher to pick up the report card on June 22nd or 23rd.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a 2020 Max Aitken yearbook.
We have submitted the yearbook for printing and are no longer accepting orders. As mentioned in previous messages, we did not order extra yearbooks. Information will be sent out when the yearbooks arrive and are available for pickup. Thank you!

The school year may have changed unexpectedly, but Max Aitken will still have a 2020 Yearbook.
For students who indicated they would like to purchase a yearbook but didn’t get a chance to pay at school, you can e-transfer Mrs. Kingston (erin.kingston@nbed.nb.ca) before April 30th. Yearbooks are scheduled to arrive in June, however, we will not be able to hand them out until schools reopen. More info to follow.
Please make the password yearbook and include your child’s full name and grade in the note/memo. The cost of the yearbook is $25.00. Thank you!
