St. Patrick’s Day At Max Aitken Academy

In recognition of St. Patrick’s Day and just to have a little “Irish” fun we will be having the following activities at our school on St. Patrick's Day:

From Our Cafeteria – free samples of delicious Irish Stew will be available for all students and staff to enjoy.

Note:           This will not be a full meal for students, therefore, a normal lunch will need to be provided from home or purchased from the regular cafeteria menu.

Contests for Friday:

All grades will be invited to participate in the following:

1.         Best Irish Hair (Two categories: Natural and Made Up)

2.         Best Irish Freckles  (Two categories: Natural and Made Up)

3.         Best Irish Hat – be imaginative

4.         Wearing Best/ Most Green Outfit – make an Irish Fashion Statement

5.         Best Irish Jig – students may dance solo or with partners

**Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third in each category (K-2, 3-5, 6-8)**

Irish Hat Day – students and staff will be allowed to wear hats, tuques, etc. on this day provided there is some Irish Green in the material.
