Skating at Miramichi Civic Centre: Monday Oct. 17th  ( Bus departs school at 9:45am with skating from 10am-11am )  Information went home earlier this week along with our skating schedule. If your child doesn't have skates and/or a helmet but wishes to participate in this event, please let us know and we will locate skates/helmets here at the school. We do, however, need to know the skate size required. Thanks.

 

Upcoming events 

Gas Ticket Fundraiser: Our annual school-wide fundraiser continues until October 24th. Students are reminded to return money from ticket sales thus far.  Any unsold bookets should be returned for other students to sell. Please don't wait until the last day of the campaign to return unsold booklets. Other students may need those tickets.

 

Homework 

No homework on the weekends.

Skating at Civic Centre: Monday Oct. 17th Parents are asked to return the form that went home on Tuesday. We need to know which students need skates (what size?) and/or helmets. We will arrange skates/helmets for those who need them. 

MAA Fall Reading Challenge: A fun reading challenge has begun. Information went home with each student last week. Challenge ends on Oct. 28th. Return the form when you have completed the challenge.

Skating at Civic Centre:  A copy of our upcoming skating times at the Miramichi Civic Centre went home with each student yesterday. It also contains a list of equipment REQUIRED to participate in the skating sessions, as well as a form parents are asked to complete and return.  We need to know which students need skates (what size?) and/or helmets. We will arrange skates/helmets for those who need them. Please review the notice carefully and return the signed form. Thanks in advance. First session: Monday Oct. 17th

Fire Prevention week: Today, students attended a fire prevention session led by the Miramichi Fire Department.  Each child reveived a booklet to take home. It contains some fun activities, a home fire escape plan, and a contest entry form.  Please review the information carefully with your child as part of our focus on Fire Prevention this week. NO other homework this evening.

Food Bank campaign: MAA has a school-wide food drive which began on Monday, Oct. 3rd. It will last one week leading up to Thanksgiving.  Students are encouraged to contribute to our campaign by bringing a food item for our in-class bin.
