Good morning,
Welcome to Day 7. Here are some activities for today.
Literacy -> Review your spelling and sight words. Reread yesterday's poem and write down the two sets of rhyming words. Think of two more words that rhyme with each set and write them down too. Read or have a parent read to you " Why the Cricket Chirps" in the web links. Have some fun on Squiggle Park.
Math -> Check out ABCya in the weblinks for some adding. Choose 2 dice and dots then have some fun.
Phys. Ed. -> Check out Mr. McKinnon's page for some ideas on how to get active.

We are starting Week 2 of Home Learning. Here are the Spelling, Sight Words and Poem for this week, plus some math for today. Don't forget to spend some time on Squiggle Park and TopMarks too. Have a great day!

Hi everyone,
It's Fun Friday, also known as Catch-up Day. Use today to work on anything you didn't get done this week. Revisit any websites you enjoyed this week and you could try some new games on TopMarks. If you have a deck of cards at home, you could teach someone at home to play More or Less, If you have popsicle sticks, you coud make your own Toss It game and teach a friend or family member how to play. Get outside and enjoy this beautiful Fall weather we are having. Maybe you could help rake the leaves and them jump in them.

Literacy -> Read the story of "The Little Red Hen." online. This story is a fable that teaches us a lesson. Email me or write down what you think that lesson might be.
Continue working on your book and play if you are not already done. I can't wait to read these. I love your stories!
Exploration/Math -> Be a Field Scientist. Head outside and explore. Collect, sort and draw any items that you find interesting.
