Home Learning Jan 17th 2022

Good morning Everyone,

Today we will have our Teams meeting at our scheduled time: 9:30am - roughly 11:00am.

Our classes will be:

Math -> multiples of 9 and begin looking at fractions

Writing -> Completing a quick write, We are going to continue writing our rough drafts of our letters and I am going to model editing mine

Reading -> We will read chapter 5 of our Dragon Masters book and discuss the vocabulary, characters and differences between the writing in the two languages.

Homework/Work to be completed for tomorrow:

- read a book or chapter of a book that was sent home in your packet

- 1 lesson on Lalilo (I will be checking for completed lessons)

- 1 reading comprehension of your choice

- finish any incomplete math sheets that we started in class

I will see you all at 9:30 for class!

Home Learning Friday Jan 14th

Good morning Everyone,

Today we will have our Teams meeting at our scheduled time: 9:30am - roughly 11:00am.

Our classes will be:

Math -> multiplication facts : 6, 7, 8

Writing -> Completing a quick write, based on the brainstorming and sheet the students filled out yesterday we will be starting our rough drafts today

Reading -> We will read chapters 3 adn 4 of our Dragon Masters book and discuss the vocabulary, characters and differences between the writing in the two languages.

Homework/Work to be completed for tomorrow:

- read a book or chapter of a book that was sent home in your packet

- 1 lesson on Lalilo (I will be checking for completed lessons)

- 1 reading comprehension of your choice

- finish any incomplete multiplication sheets

Home Learning Thursday Jan 13th

Good morning Everyone,

Today we will have our Teams meeting at our scheduled time: 9:30am - roughly 11:00am.

Our classes will be:

Math -> multiplying by 3s

Writing -> Completing a quick write, going over the questions we could use in our letters, filling out the brainstorming sheet as we go.

Reading -> We will read the second chapter of our Dragon Masters book and discuss the vocabulary, characters and differences between the writing in the two languages.

Homework/Work to be completed for tomorrow:

- read a book or chapter of a book that was sent home in your packet

- 1 lesson on Lalilo (I will be checking for completed lessons)

- 1 reading comprehension of your choice

- multiplication sheets 4x, 5x, 10x

- finish filling out the brinstorming sheet for you letter if you didn't finish it in class

Home Learning Wednesday Jan 12th

Good morning Everyone,

Today we will have our Teams meeting at our scheduled time: 9:30am - roughly 11:00am.

Our classes will be:

Math -> 3 digit addition and subtraction as well as multiplying by 2s

Writing -> Completing a quick write, going over our who am I letter assignment, and beginning to fill out our template.

Reading -> We will begin to read the first chapter of our Dragon Masters book and discuss the vocabulary, characters and differences between the writing in the two languages.

Homework/Work to be completed for tomorrow:

- read a book or chapter of a book that was sent home in your packet

- 1 lesson on Lalilo (I will be checking for completed lessons)

- 1 reading comprehension of your choice

- math assignments that were looked at during class: 2 and 3 digit addition/subtraction as well as multiplying by 2s

Back to School (Home Learning) Jan 11th

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I will be hoping to connect with you all through class Dojo, Lalilo, and Teams. Please take the time today to login to each of these platforms so I can have the time to help you troubleshoot any problems you may have before we meet for our new lessons on Teams tomrrow.

Individual login information for both Lalilo and Class Dojo can be found in your packets that you picked up from the school yesterday. To show me that you were able to login please do the following:

Lalilo: Complete one lesson

Dojo: Send me a quick message or note saying Hi or telling me about your break.

If you no longer have your teams login from when we went out for CUPE then please reach out to me today so I can help you get set up.

I will ask that everyone can meet me on teams at 1 this afternoon so I can go over how things are going to work for the next two weeks.

Tuesday November 23rd Home Learning

Hello Everyone,

Since we are home today our math test will be pushed back until tomorrow. This is a great oportunity to take the chance to practice the strategies that we have learned to this point that will show up on our test. I have posted the pages that have not yet been posted during our homelearning so you will have everything you need to get ready.

Also, all students were to bring home their french books last night and I am ask that, if they have not already, all students create 2 questions for their books as we will be using them tomorrow in class.

Home Learning Nov. 12th (Friday)

Happy Friday Everyone,

There will be no teams meeting today just as last Friday, our next meeting will be on Monday at 9 to look at the new material that I had posted and discusses with the students during our Teams calls earlier this week.

Today I am looking for:

- French reading: One lesson completed on lalilo

Besides the lesson on lalilo I am asking that everyone finds a way to send their completed work to me through either texting or email.
