Hello everyone,
We made it!! Today brings us to the end of home learning and somewhat of a return to normal as of Monday when all students will return to school for face-to-face learning. I’m so looking forward to seeing all my students in person after six weeks away (seems like forever!!), and I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you all, parents and students alike, for your efforts and the good work you have done during this most challenging time.
I ask that all packets (the first, sent home in the clear plastic envelope and the second, sent home in the brown envelope) please be returned on Monday if they haven’t already, with all work (finished or not) enclosed. Reading logs, green Hilroy notebooks, etc. should also be returned.

Reading:
Read 15-20 mins. from a book that you have at home and record on the Elementary Reading Log sheet provided at the front of your packet.
Journal Writing:
Please use your green Hilroy notebook to respond to the following prompt:
What is your favourite holiday? What makes this holiday special?
Remember to write a paragraph of at least 4-5 complete sentences for each journal entry.
Spelling:
Practise your List 14 Spelling words, posted above. In your green Hilroy notebook, write sentences with the remaining list words- those you didn’t use on Monday.
Math:
Practise 7x tables (see attached document).
