Ms K Sherrard Notes

Here you will find a variety of Guidance themed videos, tips and activities.

Notes

Having a network of trusted adults is at the foundation of social emotional learning.  Teachers, coaches, grandparents, relatives and neighbors are a few examples of trusted adults.  It is these trusted adults where kids learn the necessary values and virtues to be healthy, happy and prominent members of society.

Parents:

- Have a conversation with your child about who your trusted adults were when you were their age. What did you admire about them?

Students:

- on paper write down a list of all your trusted adults

- write down the top three things you admire about each one

- tell this trusted adult how much they mean to you (call, text or email)
