Homeroom:
Family open house on Wednesday, December 3rd from 6-7pm. Everyone is welcome to come see student work, drama, music, enjoy hot chocolate and light up the Christmas tree!
Language Arts:
Read your independent reading book for at least 15 minutes each night.
Reader's notebook entries are due each Tuesday.
Sciences Humaines:
Students are reminded that a significant part of their mark in Social Studies comes from participation in class discussions. This is critical to learning a second language!
Evenements Courants: vous allez recevoir vos dates de presentation pour terme 2 cette semaine!
Note for parents: all grade 8 students will be presenting a news article about a current event at some point this term, with discussion questions for the class. They are required to practice reading the article aloud at home prior to their class presentation. You can help your child prepare for this assignment by asking them for their presentation date and listening to them read the article they have selected aloud. They will only select an article one week (max) before their presentation so that the article is current. Thank you for your support. :-)
