8P2 Math - Today we continued our work with square roots. We looked at how to estimate square roots of numbers that are not perfect squares. We did questions 6, 7, 8 and 10 on page 25 in class, but anyone who was absent should finish them for homework. There will be a quiz on lessons 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4 on Thursday, December 6. Students will also be writing the district benchmark assessment on Wednesday of next week.

8P2 Math - Today we covered lesson 1.2 on pages 12-14 in the textbook. We did questions 5, 6, & 7 together, and question 9 is for homework. There are several students who do not have a calculator. It is essential that they bring a calculator to class. A few students require more time to finish up their unit test from yesterday, so those will likely be sent home at the beginning of next week for parents to sign.

Math 8P2 - Today we worked on graphing linear relations. Students should complete questions 5 b-d, 6 a,c,f,h, 7, & 11 on page 363-364 for homework.There will be a unit test on Monday for chapter 6. We will review on Thursday and Friday.

Math 8P2 - Ch. 6 quizzes were sent home last Thursday. Please sign the quiz and return. There will be a re-test on Wednesday, November 21st at lunch (12:00) but you need to have your quiz signed and corrections finished in order to be able to write the re-test.
Questions 4-10 on page 356-57 were started in class yesterday and should be completed for homework.
Sciences Humaines 8E - Culture presentations continue in class. Please make sure your presentation is saved on your memory stick and ready to go.

Math 8P2 - Ch. 6 quizzes were sent home today. Please sign and return. There will be a re-test on Wednesday, November 21st at lunch (12:00) but you need to have your quiz signed and corrections finished in order to be able to write the re-test. I am available for extra help on Monday, November 19th at lunch. (12:00).
A reminder that you should have a calculator with you in class.
Today we started looking at tables of values and graphing linear equations - p. 351-353 in your textbook. Homework will be assigned during next class.
