Good morning,
As we wrap up another week, I'd like to dedicate our ELA time to completing a reading journal. In this journal, I would like for you to use what you already know in your book to predict what will happen next. The journal should be half a page in length, but it can be longer if you like.
Your journal should include three key components.
1. A brief summary of what is/has been happening in your novel (ie what you already know).
2. A prediction of what you think will happen next.
3. An explanation of why you think that will happen. Pull evidence and examples from the text.
As always, please include your name, date, title (Reading Journal November 12th), and be sure to include the title of your book so I know what you're writing about! Let me know on Teams or email if you have any questions.

Since we were working on our Indigenous projects in class, we have been stuck in limbo. If we are still home next week, we will begin our next unit, Physical Geography of Atlantic Canada. For today, I would like you to explore the following videos on YouTube
