Dear Parents and Students,Last week's 'No Technology Day' was a great success. Students were very determined to avoid technology and electricity and many were very moved and enlightened by our experience.We had 3 students, along with myself, who biked to school. Many others walked instead of taking a drive or the bus.During 5th period we collected the following items from our school grounds: 240 plastic items165 paper items465 pieces of other garbageWow! That's a lot of trash collected from our school property. During Enhancement on 'No Technology Day', we had a classroom-based yard sale. In selling the things we no longer need or want, we were able to make $75 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma fundraiser. Ms Stewart was very impressed by this.
