Science/Collab- Expo is March 19th. Projects should be near complete or have a plan/date in place. Students will also need time to prepare to show their learning.

Grade 7- Test Tuesday for divisibility rules and patterns & relation (revision was distributed last Wednesday and reviewed in class). Will begin Probability unit on Wednesday. Control sheet for this unit will be distributed then.

 

Grade 8-  Test Tuesday for patterns, relations and graphing. Will begin Probability unit on Wednesday. Control sheet for this unit will be distributed then.

 

Science/Collab- Submit dates for our Climate Action Project Actions. Keep working on planning and research.

 

Canadian Mental Health Presentation on Tuesday for grade 7. Centres of Excellence in Energy hands-on activity on Friday for everyone.

Our class had the best participation in the gas fundraiser and won $100! We would like to up the prize from pizza to a trip to Castle Bowling & kids' lunch. We are asking each student to bring in $5 each for the outing. Tentative date is Wednesday, Nov 20th.
