A note about Math Homework and other homework from Ms Barrieau: Students have plenty of time during class and during student enhancement to complete (or nearly complete) homework. There are no new concepts assigned for homework or homework for the sake of having homework. Homework is meant for finishing up things started in class. Thanks! Mlle B.

6I2- Please discuss with your parents your results of the intelligences survey. Remember, this activity does not mesure IQ. It is simply a gauge to see how you MIGHT learn best. It was very interesting to see the varying strengths and interests in our class.
Parents or siblings may like to try it themselves!

Sample Mental Math Questions:
1) 10 x 43 x 10=

As the class outline suggests, we will have MM quizzes 1-2 times per week. A great way to study is to use the questions in your cahier to study. Change the numbers and create your own MM quiz. Check your responses with a parent or calculator.

6I2- Purple Team Bake Sale for Terry Fox
6I2, Ms Barrieau’s homeroom will host a Bake Sale Wednesday, September 21st during nutrition break at 10:05am. Students are asked to bring in nut-free baked goods to sell to other fellow students. All proceeds will go towards Harkins’ Terry Fox Campaign for Cancer Research.
