Attention all parents of children born in 2016. Due to Corona Virus protocol, Kindergarten registration for September 2021 in Anglophone School District North will be changing.
Welcome back to a new school year and a special welcome to our newest moose and their parents and guardians. There are lots of new changes in our operation plans which you will hear about soon, but in preparation for our first week back the following are the absolute, NEED TO KNOW things that will help to keep you and your family safe on those first days back.
The entire learning community of Max Aitken would like to wish our students and families a wonderful summer break and we look forward to seeing "all" our student in September! Stay safe MAA!
You are invited to a drive-thru celebration of our awesome 8th grade students.
When: Thursday, June 18th, 6-8pm (rain date, Friday, June 19th)
Where: Drive through the front traffic loop and stop to receive your report card, certificates/awards, a special treat and small gift. Take a socially-distanced farewell photo with your teachers and say goodbye to Max Aitken Academy staff before you head off to high school.
Due to Covid-19 we are unable to celebrate that important milestone of graduating from elementary school, (for now). We do have plans to celebrate upon our return to school, whenever that may be. Rest assured, you and your accomplishments have not been forgotten, and we have something really special planned for you. Stay safe and enjoy your summer. We will celebrate when we meet again!
Attention grade 8 students! Normally at this time of year our grade 8 students would be heading up to MVHS for a morning for a tour and orientation session. Unfortunately, that can't happen this year, but the awesome staff at MVHS have made a virtual tour video that you can access here. Check it out!
The ASD-N Virtual Olympics will take place over 10 days, May 25-29 and June 1-5. Each day will consist of 3 activities. The Virtual Olympics are open to any ASD-N students and their family members. Events can be done as many times as desired, just take the best result. Results of events can be recorded on the scorecard which will be provided and can then be submitted via a Microsoft form at the end of each of the two weeks. Every participant will receive a certificate! We hope to see lots of athletes from Max Aitken Academy! Let's go Moose!
