Discover 2019: Journey into Innovation
The second annual event will take place on Saturday, May 25th at Max Aitken Academy in Miramichi from 1 PM to 4 PM. This event will be an interactive showcase of innovative teaching and learning happening throughout our district.
As part of Discover 2018 we want to celebrate and promote the entrepreneurial mindset of students in ASD-N. In order to do so we will be transforming the Cafeteria at Max Aitken Academy into a marketplace. This will give students an opportunity to sell their product to the general public. Students can either choose to keep the profits, donate to a charity of their choosing, or a combination of the two.
Our grade 6 team will also have a room to display our Inventors’ Workshop prototypes. This room will be supervised by Sandra Bruce.
Thank you for supporting our many projects this year and we hope to see you at Discover 2019!
