Assignment for PIF 6/7P and 6P
This assignment on "Hibernation" that was due Monday, November 8th, has been removed from your Teams because of a few glitches with the website links in the last part of the assignment.
I will modify the last question before posting it again.

Hi all,
For PIF 6P and PIF 6/7P
Please check Teams and complete the assignment on "Jour du Souvenir". The Word search is not mandatory but the vocabulary words could help with the assignment. The due date is Friday, November 5th and the completed assignment can be handed in on Teams. If you have any issues, please don't hesitate to contact me by email danielle.manuel@nbed.nb.ca
For Humanities 6/7E and 6E
You will notice that you are now members of Team Humanities 6/7E or Humanities 6E. We will be doing both FILA and Social Studies in these Teams. The Other Teams (FILA and Social Studies) will be deleted and you will only be working in one Team. It should simplify things.
Today, in the Humanities Teams, I will post the answer key for the French homework due today. You should continue working in your Covid/Strike duotang and complete the French work by Monday.
You will also find, in Teams, an assignment on "Jour du Souvenir". This assignment should be done on Teams and handed in on Teams if possible. We will decide on a due date later this week. If you have any issues, please don't hesitate to contact me by email danielle.manuel@nbed.nb.ca

Good morning guys,
All of my students are asked to log in to each "Team" they belong to in my classes.
Once in your "Teams", you will find a message in the conversation strand asking you to leave me a message. Once you have left me a message, you do not have to stay in teams.
If you are a PIF 6P or PIF 6/7P student, you will be asked to complete the assignment on your Team site by Friday, November 5.
If you are a 6/7E or 6E student, you can continue working in your Covid/Strike duotang. You can also read in French 20 minutes every day.
Logging in and leaving me a message will allow me to see who has access as well as who is able to log on. I would like to have a Teams meeting in the next few days. Your message on Teams will also allow me to take attendance.

It has come to my attention that 6/7P students don't have their French duotang at home. Therefore, I have included the work missing for 6/7P in this assignment. Every PIF student in 6P and 6/7P must complete this assignment and submit it.
You will find this assignment in TEAMS. Please edit your copy on TEAMS and submit it by the due date.
If you are unable to access teams, you can print the copy included in this message (in the document section) and do the work on the paper copy or you can save it as a Word document and edit it before sending it back in an email. The due date is Friday, November 5 at 3:30.

Good morning,
As we begin on-line learning, remember there will be glitches. Please be patient. Do your best. If you are having problems, send me a message through email or TEAMS message.
I will be available online from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Work done by student learning at home will count toward their class work and mark, unlike COVID last year, so students should do their best to try the assignments and get help when needed by sending me a message on TEAMS or by email at danielle.manuel@nbed.nb.ca
Students are expected to complete assignments.
1. First assignment: Practice logging into office.com. as well as TEAMS
You will need your email and password. This information should be taped to the inside top cover of your Covid/Strike duotang.
Your email is:
Login: username@nbss.nbed.nb.ca
Password : same as at school
Once you are logged in, try going into your teams. For my classes, teams are subject class (grade level) - ex: FILA 6/7E (grade6)

2. 2nd Assignments : Covid/Strike Duotang Work
Humanities 6/7E and 6E
As we discussed in class, you will work on exercises in your duotang. You should have the packet on "Victoria Adams" completed by Wednesday and I will give you the answer key at that time.
You must also do 20 minutes of reading in French every day.
PIF 6P and 6/7P
As discussed in class, you can do the work on "jour du souvenir" - Handouts in your PIF/ French duotang.
