The kids enjoyed science with Miss Lynch today.  They experimented making "Elephant Toothpaste".  Hypothesis' were made and conclusions formed.

I apologize some sheets are sideways.  I too am still learning alot about technology.

Happy Learning!

Good Morning,

Hard to believe we are wrapping up our 2nd week of home learning.  I apologize to those I was unable to reach this week.  I sincerely hope all is going well at home and with home learning during these unusual times.

It’s typically Fun Friday in our classroom.  Hopefully everyone can get outside today and play. Use today for work that needs to be caught up or finished.  I do realize as a teacher and also a parent these are stressful times for everyone.

Hope to see everyone real soon, I am always just an e-mail away!  Miss you all!

Remembrance Day 2021

Our teaching staff have worked to put together a shortened virtual Remembrance Day Ceremony for 2021. We are asking our entire learning community to pause and take time to acknowledge the many sacrifices by so many Canadians. You can access the video of the ceremony here https://youtu.be/rVDhV6n8nO8

If you would like a poppy and do not have one, we will have a limited number set outside of the main office doors on November 10th and 11th.

Lest We Forget.

Remembrance Day Activities

Music:  Here is a link to one of the most popluar songs/videos. Take some time out of your day tomorrow to have a listen. It is called "A Pittance of Time" by Terry Kelly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kX_3y3u5Uo

Reading:  A story you may already be familiar with. Please take the time to enjoy "A Poppy to Remember".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJZQVhaxwH4

Art:  I've attached a YouTube clip of an easy way to draw a poppy. All you need is paper, a pencil and coloring utensils.  Please add your drawing to you collection of work for return to school.

Just a little reminder that since tomorrow is Remembrance Day, that there is no school. Take that time to reflect and remember the men and woman who fought for our freedom.

Hope you all have a terrific day!! We miss you all
