MAA is very excited to announce that the PowerPlay Innovation Centre will have it's grand opening on April 20. Educators from across Canada will be at MAA to tour the new learning space with students demonstrating various projects at work. Big thank you goe out to Mrs. cheryl Richardson for championing this important initiative.
Report Card #2 will go home on Tuesday April 11 with Parent Teacher interviews on Thurday April 13 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm and again on Friday April 14 from 9:00 - 11:30 am. There is no school for students on Friday April 14.
MAA will be hosting Winter Carnival and Winter Spirit Week the week of February 27. Staff have a number of fun filled activities planned for the week leading up to March Break! Have fun MAA students!
MAA is proud to announce the first annual Fine arts Showcase on Monday February 13 beginning at 6:30 pm. The showcase will spotlight the outstanding work our talented students have produced over the first half of the school year. Parents and community members are invited to this open house where they will be exposed to the wonderful works of our MAA students. A number of local and provincial artists will be on hand to showcase work during the evening. MAA is looking forward to this exciting event and we hope you can join us!
