MAA will be hosting Winter Carnival and Winter Spirit Week the week of February 27. Staff have a number of fun filled activities planned for the week leading up to March Break! Have fun MAA students!
MAA is proud to announce the first annual Fine arts Showcase on Monday February 13 beginning at 6:30 pm. The showcase will spotlight the outstanding work our talented students have produced over the first half of the school year. Parents and community members are invited to this open house where they will be exposed to the wonderful works of our MAA students. A number of local and provincial artists will be on hand to showcase work during the evening. MAA is looking forward to this exciting event and we hope you can join us!

The MAA Elementary Christmas Concerts will take place on December 13 for K-2 students and December 14 for grades 3-5 students. Both concerts will begin at 10:00 am and will take place in the Middle School gymnasium. Parents and family members are encouraged to attend the concert in person. Storm date for concerts is Thursday December 15. Looking forward to this wonderful show!
Max Aitken Academy will be hosting its annual Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday November 10 beginning at 10:30 am in the Middle School Gymnasium. The ceremony will be in-person with parents and family members permitted to attend.
MAA students and staff will participate in a school wide Halloween Parade and contest on Monday October 31 in the middle school gymnasium. Prizes will be awarded at the K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 grade levels for the best costume and most creative costume. Parents are invited to attend the parade which kicks off at 12:30 pm. Looking forward to seeing all the wonderful costumes!
Our major fundraiser of the year kicks off on Thursday October 6 and runs until October 24. This years fundraiser will be the same as last in that tickets will be sold for $2 each for a chance to win $1000 in gas. Big thank you to N&J Convenience for their continued support! All funds raised will help in purchasing technology for the school.
