Our major fundraiser of the year kicks off on Thursday October 6 and runs until October 24.  This years fundraiser will be the same as last in that tickets will be sold for $2 each for a chance to win $1000 in gas.  Big thank you to N&J Convenience for their continued support!  All funds raised will help in purchasing technology for the school.

A number of activities will take place at MAA this week for Truth & Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day.  Please note that Orange Shirt Day will be honoured on September 29 at the school as September 30 is a National holiday of reflection.

MAA staff will host Meet The Teacher night on Wednesday September 14 beginning at 6:00 pm. Parents are encouraged to come out and mingle with staff and meet your childs teacher.  Meet the teacher will take place in the school cafeteria with introductions of staff followed by an informal meet and greet (snacks and drinks provided).  Looking forward to hosting our entire learning community!

Our annual MAA Bass Fishing Contest is back!  Students will have an oportunity to fish the mighty Miramichi River for stripers between May 16- 27.   Keep a tally (tally sheet sent home) of the largest fish caught each day during the contest.  Students must return their tally sheet to their homeroom teacher to be eligable for the grand prize.  There is a grand prize at K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 grade levels.  Good luck and tight lines MAA!
