Today we will celebrate Valentine's Day.
Student may hand out Valentines if they wish, (I can print some for them to colour if they don't have any, but want them)
Students may bring/hand out treats if they'd like. (Suckers, fruit tray, popcorn, candy etc.)
Students can wear reds and pinks if they'd like to.
No obligation to bring/wear anything! but we will do some art projects and have a little fun this Friday!

At 1:00pm students will parade their costumes around the gym, class by class, to be judged for prizes. Parents are welcome to come watch. Reminders: No props (ie: fake weapons) & masks can only be worn during the parade.
If you wish to send class treats with your child, keep these things in mind:
- Treats are not at all necessary.
- We have 19 students in our class.
- We are a nut safe school and have a severe nut allergy in our class.
- We will be passing out treats between recess and lunch hour. (with limits on what they can eat before lunch)

As a fundraiser for our year end trip, grade 1 classes are having a pyjama and hat day tomorrow Friday May 24th.
Students may wear their pajamas and/or hat for a $1 each.
