Take Me Outside Day

We celebrated Take Me Outside Day on both Thursday and Friday this week. On Thursday we learned how to play some of the playground games that are painted outside our classroom like hopscotch and twister. On Friday we went for a walk to the forest classroom. We read some of the plaques in the classroom and collected leaves. With the leaves, we created patterns, and then we brought some back to the classroom and tried our best to identify what we had found. We also learned about why they change colour in the fall.

Devoirs 26 septembre - Homework September 26

Please make sure to check the homework binders! There is a lot of information, including the new cafeteria calendar.

Grade 1s - Photo day tomorrow!! Grade 1s are working on the 'a' page this week (I uploaded a new video if you want some help with it), as well as another printing and counting page like last week.

Grade 2s - Photo day Wednesday! Grade 2s are continuing to work through their two word sheets (check videos from last week if you need some practice with the words). There is also another printing page and counting page.

Just a reminder that we are celebrating Orange Shirt Day on Thursday, September 29th this year. Have a great week!

Bonjour mes amis! It's our last day of home learning.

Yesterday was family literacy day. I uploaded a scavenger hunt just below this post. If you visit https://abclifeliteracy.ca/all-programs/family-literacy-day/?gclid=Cj0KC..., you can find it under 'Activity Sheet' to print out, and there are also a lot of other great things to check out. Today is warmer than yesterday, and it could be a great chance to get outside before the storm hits!

Make sure you check your email today because I sent some information out about our return on Monday. We are also going to have our last check-in on Teams today at 11:00, and the link to join is in your email as well. I hope you all have a great weekend, and I can't wait to see you all on Monday!

We are going to try a check-in on Teams this afternoon at 1. If you have trouble logging in, please reach out, and I'll see if I can troubleshoot it from my end. For those that can't make it today or tomorrow, we can try something later on. I created the videos here on my teacher page so you can access them when it is convenient for you.
