Also, if your child is unable to tie their own skates, please practice at home with them, as we will have 62 students on the ice with only 2 teachers able to help out with tying skates. We do have extra skates and helmets here at school, if your child needs to borrow a pair not a problem at all, they just have to check in the office a few days before. Our first skating trip will be Friday, November 28 (Day 3) (load bus at 8:35 - 2 trips, and return at 10:10 - 2 trips)On Friday October 31st my homeroom class 6E1 will be celebrating their 1st place winning ( gas fundraiser) with a pizza Party and activities in the afternoon. The students of 6E1 came up with various ideas on how to celebrate and then voted on the Halloween + Pizza party. We will be eating our pizza at 1:00 pm, so please send some snacks to help them get through lunch until we eat at 1:00, they will then choose a movie to watch ( this will be viewed in French as they are in Immersion), I have advised I have movies here which the Purple Team have purchased or they may bring one from home ( I would like to see it before Friday to check if it is age appropriate) and the students will vote on the one they want to watch. I will also have games/ activities for them in the afternoon after the movie. Pizza, drink and a treat will be provide for them, however I do have students who asked if they could bring something in...they may choose to bring something ( this is not mandatory!) We have a total of 24 students in 6E1 and please make sure it's peanut + nut free as we do have a student with severe allergies.
