  • Students must complete their booklet " Pâques et printemps" for Monday May 6th, 2024. 
  • Students are currently working on their brainstorming/ draft of " Lettre d'opinion". 
  • Lecture lundi-jeudi pour 20 minutes. Read Monday-Thursday for 20 minutes (each night). Students are responsible to exchange their books at the beginning of the week. They have access to leveled books in the classroom.

  • We have launched our final collaboration project of the year " Powerplay Young Entrepreneurs". Students should be brainstorming ideas on what business/ product they would like to do this year.  ***** PLEASE NOTE, don't buy any materials until project has been approved by homeroom teacher.

  • 3rd grade 8 bake sale fundraiser Wednesday March 27th, 2024. 
  • Middle school free Easter lunch Thursday March 28th, 2024 ( for students who signed up for it). 
  • No school Friday March 29th as it's Good Friday.
  • No school Monday April 1st as it's Easter Monday.
  • Monday April 8th is a 1/2 for students only as it's the Eclipse. 
  • Thursday April 11th- 2nd term report cards go home.

  • New unit will be launched this week- All about clothing.

Classe titulaire- Homeroom

  • Wednesday March 20th- 8E will take part in a workshop outside in the forest classroom with Elder Marie learning about Indigeneous teachings and culture. Students will be outside for approx 2 hours, and should dress for the weather. They will be sitting on the ground snow/ ski/ splash pants are strongly recommended. 
  • No school Monday March 25th for students are teachers will be working on report cards. 
  • No school Friday March 29th as it's Good Friday.

  • Ms. Richardson will be bringing students from this class to Café Frikot on Thursday March 21st to practice their french. They will have an opportunity to order drinks, snacks or lunch on their own.

  • 8E- will be travelling to Gretna Green on Tuesday February 13th at 9:00 am for a Bilingualism Presentation, return time at MAA will be approx 10:30 am.
  • No school on Monday February 19th, as it's NB Family Day.

  • 7 Sacred Teaching project is due Friday February 16th. ( A lot of class time was given to work on this project, no more class time will be given, they will need to complete at home. If not completed and handed in on Feb. 16th, they will attend Help Center from 2-3 until completed).

  • Scholastic book fair is Dec. 4th-11th in our library. 
  • First term report cards will go home Tuesday Dec. 5th. Please sign the back of the report card and return in the envelop. 
  • Mini bake sake Tuesday Dec. 5th during Nutrition Break, only for middle school students. 
  • Popcorn order forms were sent home last week, they must be returned with money by Tuesday Dec. 5th. Popcorn will be delivered Thursday December 7th. 
  • Timberwolves vs MAA students floor hockey game 12:40-2:00pm. Students who wish to attend the game must bring in non-perishable food donations for the food bank or pay $2.00.
  • Parent-Teacher interviews- Thursday Dec. 7th evening from 4-6 pm First come, first serve, no appointment required.

  • All Christmas meal order forms and money must be handed in by Dec. 1st to the cafeteria. Please note there will no other meals offered on Dec. 6th (K-5) and 7th. Middle school Christmas lunch is Dec. 7th.  Order forms were sent home over a week ago.

  • Kinsmens Radio Bingo Sunday November 19th, 2023 7pm on the radio at 95.9 Rewind- Proceeds of this Bingo will go to MAA'S playground frundraising efforts.
