Good Morning 5 Dunnett,

Hope you guys are staying nice and warm on the chilly Wednesday!!

It was so nice chatting with the ones who were able to make the TEAMS called yesterday, I hope that the rest of you guys can make the call tomorrow at 10:30. We have Addison and Tori who are going to be reading to us, so you don't want to miss out on that. Mrs. Page might even be joining our meeting as well. :)

If you haven't yet finished your packet that was sent home last week, please finish it up as on this Friday, your parents will be picking up all your new work and I will be collecting what you have done thus far. If you have completed your packet, please go back to Home Learning January 17th and down at the bottom you will see a lesson with other attachments that go with it.

Down below you will see a lesson that we have already done within Math class. I have also attached the work sheet that goes with it. If you don't have a printer to print the sheet, please just answer the questions within your book that I sent home.

If you have any questions at all, please email me (kyle.dunnett@nbed.nb.ca) and I will be glad to help you out in anyway that I can.

Miss you all so much and praying that you are all staying safe!!!

Good Morning 5 Dunnett,

You can use today to catch up on work that you haven't yet finished this week. I am also looking forward to seeing you all on TEAMS today at 10:30. If you are having a hard time signing on, there are insturctions on my teacher page that will tell you how.

Literacy:

  • In your packet I would like you guys to do the reading comprehensions "Red Pandas" and "The Twister". Like we would do in class, I would like you guys to go back through the story and underline or highlight where you find your answers. It will also help if you try reading the stories out loud.
  • Please keep up with doing your 15 minutes of reading everyday as well, and please log it in your reading log. There was a reading log sheet that was sent in your packet.
  • I know that most of you guys loved doing Dreamscape. If you can't remember your usernames or passwords, please send me an email and I will get those to you.
  • Students can work on the Winter Word Search and the Finish the Drawing.

Math:

  • Normally on Friday's we do centers, so down below you guys can play some math games.
  • Dreambox - Students are not new to this. If you need their usernames or passwords please email me.
  • Multplication.com - This is a good website where students can play games with practicing their Math facts.
  • Hit the Button - Students can also use this for a review for their facts as well.

Art:

Remember to keep all your work in a safe place, because when we return I will be collecting them to mark.

I miss you all SO MUCH, and I so hope we will all be back together soon!!

Take care, stay safe and have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi everyone,

I sent an email with login information for Teams. When you go to login, it's username@nbss.nbed.nb.ca, so for example, Fred Smith would have an email of fresmi47569@nbss.nbed.nb.ca. You need to make sure that you're putting it in as an email and not just the user name, just in case there's any confusion.

I did realized that I sent you all NBESS instead of NBSS, There should be no "E", I apologize!
