Max Aitken Academy will celebrate Family Literacy Day on Friday January 26th. There will be a full slate of events and activities for the students throughout the day. Please see full details under documents section of the school website.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lawlor's Kindergarten class for winning the ASD-N Non-Fiction Read - A - Loud Challenge. Each student received a book for their win. Thank you to Karen MacDonald Literacy Coordinator.
Max Aitken Academy will be celebrating Spirit Week Dec. 18-22nd. Information about theme days have been sent home with students. Please ensure you check the memo for each of the theme days. A big thank you to our Home & School for organzing the scavenger hunt day on Monday Dec. 18th!
The Max Aitken Academy first annual Christmas Concerts will take place on Tuesday Dec. 12th for K-2 classes and Wednesday December 13th for grades 3-5 classes. Both concert dates have a start time of 9:00 am. Concerts will take place in the school gymnasium. Family and friends are encouraged to attend!
Please note that the storm date for concerts is Thursday December 14th at 9:00 am.
A reminder to the Max Aitken learning community that report cards will go home on Tuesday November 21st with Parent Teacher interviews on Thursday November 23rd from 4:30 - 6:30 pm and again on Friday November 24th from 9:00 - 11:30 am.
NOTE: If you are unable to attend Parent Teacher at the times listed and would still like to meet with your childs teacher(s), please contact the school to set up an appointment.
