Good morning! Here is what we are working on today:

**If you are picking up a STEM packet, they are available today between 12:00-3:00 at the 6-8 door.

Home Learning Packet Pick Up - Friday, January 21

If you need or would like to have a home learning packet for STEM (Math & Science) they will be available for pick up tomorrow (Friday, January 21st) from 12:00-3:00 at the middle school door.

If you are unable to pick up a STEM packet, it's not a problem - all assignments and learning materials are posted online each day. Students without a device or with limited internet access are asked to pick up a packet.  

If you want to drop off your Math and Science activities at the same time, please return them in the envelope that was sent home (if possible). Otherwise, the Math assignment should be submitted online and the Science worksheets can be returned at a later date. Please keep all home learning materials together for when we return to school.

Science 7E

  • Complete Activity #2 and Activity #3 from home learning packet.
    The activities are also posted below if you do not have a packet.

Math 8E

  • Corrections to yesterday's warm-up posted below
  • Please go over corrections for P.109 if you have not already done so (posted yesterday) 
  • Exercices supplémentaires PEDMAS (assignment) - was in home learning packet and posted below. This will be handed in when completed (via email, submitted on Teams or you can return the paper copy if you are picking up a learning packet on Friday, Jan.21st). If you are submitting the assignment electonically you can take a picture with a phone and upload it.  Assignment is due on Friday, January 21st.

Math 8E

Home Learning for Tuesday, January 11, 2022

Good morning! Here is your Math work for today. Please feel free to email me (erin.kingston@nbed.nb.ca) or message me on Teams if you have any questions. 

Math 7E

  • Review adding and subtracting decimals lesson (P.96-99). We did questions on P.98 (#1-4, 6, 8) before Christmas.
  • Practice worksheets for adding and subtracting decimals (attached below). They were also given in the home learning packet.
    You can choose how many questions to complete. Remember to place the numbers vertically and align the decimal points. No calculator.
  • Netmath activities:

For students without access to a device, you can pick up a home-learning packet at the school today between 11:00-3:00 (at the 6-8 door).

Students should have their Math textbook at home, unless they have access to the online version of the textbook posted in Teams.
