Classe titulaire 6E1 (HOMEROOM) + Equipe violette (Purple Team).Contact: cheryl.richardson@nbed.nb or 627-4088. Fundraiser notice: There was a green notice included in the report card envelop explaining the upcoming Purple Team fundraiser. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact one of the teachers on the team. We are looking for all donations to be brought in to school by November 30th. Thank you!We would like to congratulate Kiersten Hamilton for being Student of the Month for October on the Purple Team! Kiersten can always be observed helping others, she has a big and king heart and we would like to congratulate her for being a fantastic role model for others. Way to Go!.We would also like to congratulate  Andrew Leslie and Bethany Campbell for being Purple Team's Students of the Week for November 16th-19th, 2015. Wonderful role models for their peers!Français (French) 6E1, 6E2.Student are presently working on their writing piece "recette" (recipe).Français (French) 6L (late) Students will now be require to read 15 minutes in French every night from Monday-Thursday (they may read over the weekend if they choose). Students will pick books at their level from my class library, they may be reading the same book for a whole week, this is perfectly ok, rereading is very beneficial in a second language. Students have started working on their draf of writing piece "recette", recipe this week. Science Humaines (Social Studies) 6E1, 6E2, 6L.Students have all their notes for this unit, they should be reading it over 2-3 times a week. Quiz will be before the Christmas break.We are starting a new unit on rights and freedoms- students should be looking at The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms ( see weblinks to the right), to read up on it.Discussion questions: 1. What is a right (droit)? 2. What is a privilege (privilège)? 3. What is the difference between the two? 4. How do we have rights? 5. How do we get provilieges? 6. Can rights be taken away? 7. Can privileges be taken away?

This is a fundraiser for the Red Team, students who like to watch the game and have a chance to win T-Wolves tickets will need to pay $1.00. There will also be a free throw competition ( $1.00) during half time, prize to be one. We would like to congratulate Kiersten Hamilton for being Student of the Month for October on the Purple Team! Kiersten can always be observed helping others, she has a big and king heart and we would like to congratulate her for being a fantastic role model for others. For the corrections to count on their quiz, students must return corrections and quiz signed by Tuesday November 10th. If the quiz is not signed, the corrections will not count. Students are permitted to use their notes while completing corrections. Classe titulaire 6E1 (HOMEROOM) + Equipe violette (Purple Team).Contact:cheryl.richardson@nbed.nb.ca or 627-4088.We would like to congratulate Kiersten Hamilton for being Student of the Month for October on the Purple Team! Kiersten can always be observed helping others, she has a big and king heart and we would like to congratulate her for being a fantastic role model for others. Way to Go!.We would also like to congratulate Cody Chiasson and Jenna Taylor for being Purple Team's Students of the Week  for 0ctober 26th-30th . Wonderful hard workers, keep up the fantastic job!Skating: Purple Team will be skating Friday November 13th, 2015. First bus run will be leaving at 10:15 (second immediately following), we will be skating until 11:35 ( first return bus will be at 11:40, and second immediately after).Please note students are to have skates and helmet to come to the rink (parents/guardians may bring their child's equipment directly to the rink if they would like).Also, students should be able to tie their own skates, please practices this at home with them. We have 67 students on the team and only 3 teachers to supervise on and off the ice.
