Read 20 minutes and record in your log duo-tang

Read Aloud - Listen to the audio attachment for chapters 1 and 2 from Snow Monsters Do Drink Hot Chocolate. When finished, complete the reading comprehension questions for these two chapters. ( See attachment below)

Spelling - Read aloud and study List 13 Words ( Remember to break up your word list and review 5 words each day)

          Write all list words that have suffixes. Next to each word, record the base word. The first two list words are completed below for you to follow from.

                  hunting - hunt 

                  learned - learn  

Journal Entry - Refer to the last page of your reading log sheet booklet titled Write On and complete Prompt # 2: Persuade Me! Remember to include the date and prompt number at the beginning of your journal entry. 

Please complete the third set of activity sheets in your home learning packet -  Being Active (pp.42 and 43)

Physical Education Activity Log - Remember to keep track of your physical activity minutes for each day and record. These sheet can be found attached to the back of your reading log sheets. Don't forget to check Mrs. Gallant's teacher page for music activities.

Home Learning - The packets are organized by day, with work to be completed on each of the next 9 days (reading, writing and math) stapled together. Please try as much as possible to keep sheets stapled together and in the order provided in the packet, and return all sheets to the packet each day. This will make it easier when it comes time to return everything, and the plastic envelope can be reused if necessary in the future. 

I want to say, please just do the best you can on the assigned material in the packet and don't stress if there are questions/exercises you are having trouble with. Remember to please reach out should you have any questions or concerns. (doris.mckinnon@nbed.nb.ca)
