Homeroom- 8E Richardson

• We will be decorating our classroom + door this week as we participate in spirit week. Come prepared with some ideas, decorations made or from home ( extra).
• Ticket on the Ninento Switch will be sold Dec. 14th, 15th and 17th, tickets are $2.00 each.
• Christmas Cafeteria Dinner is Thursday December 16th ( however must have been pre-ordered and payed for las week). This is just a reminder there will be no other meal available on this day.

·        Classroom and door decorating (Adults are not permitted to help)

·     Middle School homerooms will be paired with elementary classes middle school students will create Christmas cards for younger students).

7E & 8E Français: 

• Both classes will be working on making cards in French for our elementary students in French immersion. Students can write their message in French and e-mail to me for verification. It should be more then just Joyeux Noel .
• Reading in French ( if you don't have a French book at home) please go to documents ( tab at the top of this page). In the document French websites, there are a few which you can access French books/stories.

8E- Collaboration: 

• Students had their mini showcase on Dece,ber 10th, our final Showcase in when we return from Christmas break. Students should be completing their final projects, posters, project board, power point etc......

7E & 8E Science Humaine: Nothing new for today

• Research some fun classroom door decoration options and class decorations for Christmas.  
• PJ/HAT DAY is Thursday November 25th.

8P1 & 8P2 Post Intensif French ( PIF):   

• You can explore French videos on Youtube, focus should be on your numbers 1-100, how to introduce yourself in French. Classroom and  school vovabulary. 

7E & 8E Français: 

This week students will work on catching up/ completing at home learning assignments ( we will not be covering anything new this week):

•  " Bande dessinée" draft was due Friday November 5th.
• Complete  all check-in on Teams.
• Writing piece (draft only) Porté disparu was due November 12th. 

8E- Collaboration: 

• Your private groups have been created with the Teams Collaboration site: 
•  Questions have been posted, you are free to work on these questions whenever is convenient for you. ( Same as last week).

7E & 8E Science Humaine: Nothing new for today.

•   Travaux #1  Les septs enseignements sacrés (7 sacred teachings) Due date is Wednesday November 10th, 2021.

• Congratulations 8E on winning $100 towards a classroom celebrations ( class who had the highest % of participation for the gas fundraider from grades 6-8).
• Halloween celebration will take place tomorrow Tuesday November 16th ( costume parade and reverse trick or treat for our seniors). Students are asked to donate treats to be given to our seniors ( mini chocolate bars, pudding cups, granola bars, rice crispy squares ect...). 
• No school for students: Friday November 19th- 1/2 report card writing  + 1/2 Professional Learning for teachers.  

8P1 & 8P2 Post Intensif French ( PIF):   

• Students will be working on their booklet ( La rentrée) this week with the teachers help to finish the booklet. Students will also be given time in class to complete all check-ins which were not completed during at home learning. Make sure to bring back your booklet to school!

 7E & 8E Français:

•  ***** This assignment must be fully completed and handed in by Thursday November 18th). I have gone over it and explained to the students what needs to be done. Travaux #1  Les septs enseignements sacrés (7 sacred teachings) Due date is Wednesday November 10th, 2021.( Deadline extension to Friday November 12th, as students had some difficulties understanding the assignment).
