Grade 7/8E: Reading journal number 5 & 6 were assigned on Feb.6 and Feb. 27- Predicting #5 & #6: When you read, you can guess, or predict what might happen next, or what you might learn next based on the author's clues and your own personal knowledge. You can predict:
Make two predictions for journal entry #5. They must be in proper sentence and paragraph form, and clearly show your thinking. For journal entry #6 you need two paragrpahs. Your choice of connections, questioning, predicting, observations etc.

Grade 7/8E: Reading journal number 4 & 5 were assigned last & this week- Visualizing #4 & 5: When you read create a movie in your mind to help better understand the events, characters, and details of the story. Use all 5 senses to create the mind movies. You can visualize:
Visualizing journal must have two sketches of your visualizing and a short write up explaining the sketch. They must be in proper sentence and paragraph form, and clearly show your thinking.

Grade 7/8E: Reading journal number 3 was assigned this week- Questions #3: Do you have any questions before reading? Is there something you're unsure of? I wonder? Why? How come? What does this word mean? See attached information about questions and teacher sample.
