Hi Friends!

I'm missing seeing you everyday and I hope we will be together soon. In the meantime you can perform our story for your parents. Remember we were learning about 'DYNAMICS" which is the fancy word for making your voice interesting and changing it to make your song or poem interesting.

F means forte which is music talk for 'loud'

P means piannissimo which is music talk for soft or quiet.

FF- very loud, FFF- very, very loud

PP- very soft (a whisper), PPP very, very soft

MP or MF means medium soft or medium loud.

Here we go: Read the directions on how to say the line.

FF- In a dark, dark wood, there was a dark, dark house

F- And in that dark, dark house, there was a dark, dark room.

MF- And in that dark, dark room there was a dark, dark cupboard.

P- And in that dark, dark cupboard, there was a dark, dark shelf.

PP- And on that dark, dark shelf, there was a dark, dark box.

PPP- And in that dark, dark box, there.... was.... a ...

FFF GHOST!!

Today's Morning Meeting Time should focus on the story behind the Pink Shirt Day Campaign that was started by two high school students in Nova Scotia.

Take the time today to research why the campaign started. This is the perfect example of two students identifying a huge problem and working to solve it. They showed courage in doing so.
